Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu – Manga will be paused due to the author’s health

This year's 50th issue of Akita Shoten 's Weekly Shounen Champion revealed Thursday that Itaru Bonnoki 's Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu (The Vampire Dies in No Time) will go on hiatus for about a month due to the author's failing health.

Therefore, the work will return with its 310th chapter in the first edition of 2023 of the magazine, on December 1st.

The manga previously went on a 1-week hiatus in September due to the author's sudden illness.

Synopsis

Vampires are said to have many weaknesses, such as garlic, crosses, and sunlight. The vampire lord, Draluc, who enjoys games, turns out to be weak to… everything. He dies, turning into a pile of ash, at the slightest shock. When his castle is destroyed, he teams up with vampire hunter Ronaldo, much to the other's chagrin. Despite their differences, they must work together to defend themselves from rogue vampires, Ronaldo's murderous editor, investigators, and more—with Draluc dying several times along the way.

Itaru Bonnoki launched the Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu manga in Weekly Shounen Champion in June 2015. Akita Shoten published the manga's 22nd volume on September 8 and will publish the 23rd volume on December 8.

Furthermore, the work inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in Japan in October 2021.

The second season of the anime premieres in January 2023.
