It was revealed by the official website for the anime Kyuukyoku Shinka Shita ( Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life! ) will have 12 episodes. According to the official website, the series arrives on April 7th from the animation studio ENGI .

Synopsis:
The story follows a bored high school student named Hiro Yuuki as he is tricked into entering a full-immersion role-playing video game. The game, titled Kiwame Quest, is touted as “more real than reality itself,” with mind-bending graphics, impressive NPC behavior, and even the smell of foliage and the feel of wind against your skin. Unfortunately, the game is already a virtual ghost town, after being inundated with player complaints that it was too realistic for its own good. Its missions are nearly impossible to complete, as players must be in the same physical shape as their characters to complete them, as they would in real life. Players feel real pain when wounds from blows and puncture wounds take days to heal. The only reward is the mere feeling of accomplishment. It's the opposite of casual games, but Hiro promises to beat the most realistic game ever.
Finally, the novel Kyuukyoku Shinka Shita by author Light Tuchihi began to be published in August 2020 by Kadokawa , with only 2 volumes published to date.
