Pony Canyon has announced that an anime adaptation of Hideaki Koyasu 's Lance N' Masques has been greenlit and is happening. Studio Gokumi (Saki – The Nationals, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, The Severing Crime Edge) is editing the series, and we'll soon see a trailer with more details and information .
The novel focuses on action battles revolving around Yotaro Hanafusa , a young man who is part of the last remaining reign of knights in the 21st century, "Knights of the World." As he fights as the mysterious Lancer Knight , he must hide his identity behind a mask .
Koyasu , the scriptwriter of Yuruyuri – Happy Go Lily , began the light novel in December of last year with illustrations by Shino (Sunday Without God). Pony Canyon will release the second volume of the series in Japan .
