Pony Canyon has announced that an anime adaptation of author Hideaki Koyasu Lance N' Masques has been greenlit and will happen. Studio Gokumi (Saki – The Nationals, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, The Severing Crime Edge) is editing the series, we will soon be able to see a trailer with more details and information .
The novel focuses on battle action that revolves around Yotaro Hanafusa , a young man who is part of the last remaining reign of knights in the 21st century, “Knights of the World”. As he fights as the mysterious Lancer Knight , he must hide his identity behind a mask .
Koyasu , writer of Yuruyuri – Happy Go Lily , started the Light Novel in December last year with illustrations by Shino (Sunday Without God). Pony Canyon will release the second volume of the series in Japan .
