X-Men – Days of Future Past has released its latest trailer with new scenes focused on Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) recruiting mutants from the past.

The new film will bring together the generation of mutants from the trilogy starring Hugh Jackman with the generation introduced in X-Men: First Class and adapts the comic book story written by Chris Claremont and drawn by John Byrne, about a future where mutants are held in concentration camps. In the plot, Wolverine, one of the few remaining living X-Men, connects with his past self to warn her of the danger and attempt to change the course of apocalyptic events.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters on May 22.
