VALORANT, developed by Riot Games, is close to implementing a long-awaited feature: the gifting system. Recent information, which has surfaced through leaks, indicates that players will be able to send items, such as weapon skins and special bundles, to friends.

The ability to send gifts between users promises to strengthen the community, facilitating interaction and offering a new way to celebrate achievements and special moments within the game. However, as is common in developments of this type, Riot Games warns that the release date may be adjusted as updates progress.

How will the gifting system work in VALORANT?

According to available information, the feature will allow players to send a variety of digital items, including weapon skins, player cards, and charms. This gifting system will be released for console and PC users, expanding the reach of the new feature. Although Riot Games has not yet released all the details, leaks suggest that it will even be possible to send Battle Passes to other players.

It's important to note that the system will have limitations: the transfer of VALORANT Points (VP), the game's virtual currency, and Radianite points will not be available. This measure aims to prevent fraud and maintain the security of in-game transactions. For players, this means that gifts will be limited to specific customization items.

Gift system launch date

Although Riot Games has not yet officially announced the date, there is speculation that the gifting system will be available at the start of Episode 10. According to leaks, the release of this episode is scheduled to occur in a few weeks, but the developer emphasizes that the implementation of the feature depends on technical adjustments and final testing.

With anticipation running high, players are advised to follow VALORANT's official social media channels for real-time updates on the arrival of this new feature.

Players who want to gift friends with VALORANT skins and other items already have alternatives while the gifting system is not yet launched. A simple option is to transfer the corresponding amount through services like PayPal, allowing the recipient to purchase the desired skin directly.

Another alternative is purchasing VALORANT Points prepaid cards from online stores like Amazon. Players can then redeem the codes on these cards to convert them into in-game credits. This will allow for a similar gifting experience until the new feature arrives.

Impact of the new feature on the VALORANT community

The introduction of the gifting system in VALORANT promises to encourage a culture of sharing and interaction among players. The ability to send items and reward friends strengthens the sense of community, bringing participants closer together and solidifying bonds within the game.

Furthermore, the feature arrives at a time when Riot Games is looking to expand VALORANT's reach and engage its user base. The gifting system could be a valuable tool to enhance the player experience, while the company explores ways to strengthen the game's social environment.
