The teaser for the 3rd season of Legend of the Galactic Heroes ( Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu ) has been revealed. According to the official Twitter , the anime hits theaters in Japan as a trilogy starting on March 4th, April 1st and May 13th, respectively.

Thus, the first season of The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These Kaikō (The New Thesis: Star-Crossed), had 12 episodes that premiered in April 2018. The second season Die Neue These Seiran (The New Thesis: Stellar War) arrived the following year.

Synopsis:
In the 35th century, when the galaxy is dominated by two powers, who are at war. Legend of the Galactic Heroes tells the story of this war between the monarchical Galactic Empire and the democratic Free Planets Alliance. The story focuses both on the galactic war and the politics involved and on the lives of the various actors and the way in which they are all interconnected.
Finally, the light novel was written by Yoshiki Tanaka between 1982 and 1987.
