The anime adaptation of the light novel and manga Let This Grieving Soul Retire ( Nageki no Bōrei wa Intai Shitai: Saijaku Hunter ni Yoru Saikyō Party Ikusei-jutsu ) by author Tsukikage illustrated by Chyko .

The announcement reveals that the new Let This Grieving Soul Retire anime will premiere on TV in Japan later this year.
Therefore, the anime is directed by Masahiro Takata (Tenkuu Shinpan, The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch) at studio ZERO-G (Grand Blue, Tenkuu Shinpan), script by Chico and character designs by Yusuke Isouchi and Shingo Fujisaki. Additionally, the official website shared the first teaser.

Synopsis:
It's the golden age for treasure hunters – adventurers hungry for wealth, fame, power and glory, who risk their lives on treasure chests across the world. “Let’s become treasure hunters.” Krai and his childhood friends vowed to become the greatest ever, but that dream should have died the day Krai realized he had no aptitude for the job! However, expectations continue to rise, as does Krai's fear for his life. As his childhood friends move closer to realizing their dream, this grieving soul has one simple desire: throw it all away and retire!
Tsukikage eventually began serializing the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō in January 2018. It was later acquired by Micro Magazine, who began publishing it under their GC Novels light novel imprint in August 2018. A manga adaptation illustrated by Rai Hebino began serialization on Kadokawa's manga website ComicWalker in April 2019.
