The "Liar, Liar" franchise, based on the light novels by Haruki Kuō, will come to an end with its 15th volume, scheduled for release on November 25th.
The announcement was made this Monday via the official Twitter account.
Synopsis
At the Academy, an island-sized institution, students participate in competitions to achieve rankings. Hiroto Shinohara not only passed the most rigorous exam in the country to gain transfer, but also defeated last year's reigning champion on the very first day, rising to the top spot in record time. However, the reality is different: he made a huge mistake and now needs to maintain his position at the Academy at all costs. After all, we're dealing with a world of lies!
Kadokawa launched the novel series in April 2019, featuring illustrations by the Kinokonomi unit. The 14th volume was released on July 25th.
Funa Yukina began a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine in August 2019, and the second compiled volume was released in November 2020.
The series served as inspiration for an anime, which premiered on July 22nd.
