The conversation was relaxed, but brought important reflections. Furuhashi even joked as he answered, " I think that was the hardest question of the night. I'm also looking forward to a third season! But honestly, between the first and the second season, we created 220,000 animated pictures ." The number surprised the audience, and he added: " I would like to take time for the animators to breathe. If I depended on me, I would say: Let's wait until the next Olympics to see what happens with season 3 of Light Light Solo ."

The future of lightning soil depends on the energy of fans

Kaneko, in turn, responded symbolically, comparing the situation to the famous Dragon Ball Genki . " It's not just about me, or Furuhashi-san. You know how Genki Dama works. We need the energy of all light-soil fans around the world to decide if we'll have a third season ." While talking, Kaneko even raised his arms, imitating Goku's classic gesture.

In addition, the producers highlighted the challenges of balancing the overall popularity of the series with the tight schedule of A-1 Pictures. After all, as the CEO of Crunchyroll explained, Rahul Purini , there is great demand for new anime, and finding the right time to start a new production requires planning.

While waiting, it remains to hope that the “ power of fans ” will bring news soon. Want to keep following all about lightning soil ? Follow AnimeNew on WhatsApp and Instagram .
