The official website for the adaptation of Little Busters! has officially announced the production of Little Busters! EX , the announcement was made at the “KSL Live 2013” ​​event. The first Little Busters! game has received its first season for TV, and Sentai Filmworks will release the series on DVD and Blu-ray. The second season, Little Busters! Refrain, is already scheduled to premiere in October of this year.

In Key's original visual novel game, "Refrein" is known as the final scenario, unlocked after completing the six heroines' scenarios. Director Yoshiki Yamakawa and his assistant Chikara Sakurai directed the entire project alongside the studio JC Staff.
