The film, which will premiere on April 23rd in Japanese theaters and is based on the manga of the same name by Kengo Hanazawa , won the Golden Raven award at the BIFFF, Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival .
The live-action film also won the awards for Best Special Effects and the audience award at the 48th Sitges Film Festival in Catalonia, Spain in October, and the audience award at Fantasporto in Portugal last month.
