IGN released this Friday a trailer for the live-action film of “Knights of the Zodiac”, a work by Masami Kurumada .

The film will be released in Japan on April 28th, and is then titled “Saint Seiya: The Beginning”.

Therefore, it is produced by Yoshi Ikezawa Toei Animation studio and is scheduled to premiere in cinemas in Japan on April 28th.

Saint Seiya: The Beginning ( Knights of the Zodiac ) stars Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) as Mitsumasa Kido , Mackenyu Arata (Samurai X – The Final) as Pegasus Seiya , Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) as Saori Kido and Diego Tinoco (Teen Wolf) as Ikki de Fênix. The cast also includes Nick Stahl (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), Mark Dacascos (John Wick 3: Parabellum) and Famke Janssen (Jean Gray in the first X-Men trilogy).

Synopsis

The story follows Mackenyu as the protagonist Seiya , who is therefore a street orphan and the hero of the franchise. When a mystical energy known as Cosmo awakens within him, Seiya embarks on a journey to conquer the ancient Greek armor of Pegasus and choose his side in a supernatural battle for the fate of Sienna (Iseman), a young woman fighting to control her powers.
