The full trailer for the highly anticipated live-action Lupin III. The trailer features the new theme , sung by Tomoyasu Hotei.
The story revolves around Lupin and his partners in crime before they became a gang. They infiltrate the high-security Ark of Navarone, a fortress-like gigantic to claim the Heart Crimson of Cleopatra. It is said that whoever possesses this treasure will "unite the world."
The film is the first live-action adaptation of Lupin III in four decades. Filming began last year, with concluding principal photography in December. Ryuhei Kitamura (Azumi) is directing, and Mataichirō Yamamoto wrote the screenplay. Production takes place in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines. It premieres on August 30th in major Japanese cinemas.
