According to information from the Jbox , the courts have revoked the concession of the Loading . According to the TRF-3 (Regional Federal ), the sale of the service by the Abril to Spring is illegal. This has been the understanding since last year, when a lawsuit filed by the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office was accepted.
Since it is a public concession, it would require approval from the National Congress, along with sanction from the Federal Government. The companies involved were previously convicted of negligence and ordered to pay collective moral damages – they were fined 29 million reais, but the process had stalled due to a request for review by Abril.
There is no further appeal to any instance, not even to the Supreme Federal Court (STF). The decision requires the channel to be taken off the air immediately.
With the revocation, the sale is undone and the concession reverts to the Ministry of Communications. Jovem Pan is currently the media outlet most aligned with the government , but it will need to go through public bidding processes to obtain the channel.
