The official NHK website for Log Horizon announced that the second season will be produced by Studio DEEN instead of Studio Satelight, which animated the previous season. The promotional video for the anime, which will premiere on October 4th in Japan on the NHK channel and will have 25 episodes, was also released.
The names of the voice actors and production team have also been confirmed. The band Man With a Mission will return to sing the opening theme "Database" with singer Takuma of the band 10-Feet. Yun*chi will return to sing the ending theme "Wonderful Wonder World."

Log Horizon (ログ・ホライズン, Rogu Horaizun ? ) is a Japanese light novel series written by Mamare Touno. It was originally posted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2010 and subsequently published by Enterbrain since March 2011. The series follows strategist Shiroe and the other players of the long-running MMORPG Elder Tale as they find themselves trapped inside the game after updating it.
