The official NHK website for Log Horizon announced that the second season will be produced by Studio DEEN instead of Studio Satelight, which animated the previous season. A promotional video for the anime was also released; it will premiere on October 4th in Japan on NHK and will consist of 25 episodes.
The names of the voice actors and production team have also been confirmed. The band Man With a Mission will return to sing the opening theme “Database” with singer Takuma from the band 10-Feet. Yun*chi will return to sing the ending theme “Wonderful Wonder World”.

Log Horizon (ログ・ホライズン, Rogu Horaizun ? ) is a Japanese light novel series written by Mamare Touno. It was originally posted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2010 and later published by Enterbrain, starting in March 2011. The series follows strategist Shiroe and other players of the long-running MMORPG Elder Tale, shortly after they find themselves trapped inside the game after updating it.
