The anime of Lord of the Mysteries finally premieres on June 28, 2025, bringing to light one of the most anticipated works of the summer season. The anime is based on the famous Chinese written by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving , produced by B.CMAY Pictures , with confirmed airing on Tencent Video , WeTV and also on Crunchyroll , with Japanese dubbing.

According to the production team, the first season will feature 13 episodes released weekly, and surprisingly, two special episodes are also in the final stages of production. While changes may occur, the studio has already completed the entire first batch of episodes, meaning there are unlikely to be any unexpected delays.

What to expect from the new anime?
The story revolves around Zhou Mingrui , who finds himself transported into the body of Klein Moretti , a historian in an alternate world with a Victorian aesthetic. However, upon awakening, Zhou realizes that he has inherited both the memories and the mysteries surrounding the real Klein's life—including the fact that he took his own life.
As he tries to understand his new reality, Klein immerses himself in a society where mystical rituals, prophecies, Artifacts, and creatures known as Beyonders dominate the shadows of the world. Thus, the protagonist embarks on a path full of secrets, eventually assuming the role of the legendary "Fool."
