On Twitter (x) he commented on the post: 25 years ago (1998), today, October 21, 2024, the first chapter of “Love Hina” was published in Weekly Shonen Magazine! It was at that moment that the beautiful anime girls entered the magazine, which until then focused on Yankees and sports. We received support from students who took the entrance exam for the University of Tokyo. I would like to know if there are plans for a revival or dramatization????

Therefore, fans have already expressed their gratitude for the image in the comments and, more importantly, for Ken Akamatsu to pop culture in general.

Synopsis:

It's safe to say that Keitarô Urashima isn't the luckiest person in the world. At 19, he's never kissed a girl and has already failed the entrance exam for Todai, the highly competitive University of Tokyo, three times. Disillusioned, he leaves home and goes to his grandmother's boarding house. However, Keitarô never imagined that the place had been transformed into a girls' dormitory. Since his grandmother decided to travel the world, Keitarô ends up becoming the manager of the Hinata Boarding House. Amidst much confusion, little by little, he wins over each of the residents. At the same time, he begins to work much harder to get into Todai and fulfill the promise he made to a little girl in his childhood. The two of them would enter the University together and live happily ever after.

Finally, the series was published in Weekly Shounen Magazine from 1998 to 2001, and had 14 volumes. In Brazil, the manga was published by JBC.
