On Twitter (x) he commented on the post: 25 years ago (1998), today, October 21, 2024, the first chapter of “Love Hina” was published in Weekly Shonen Magazine! It was at that moment that the beautiful anime girls entered the magazine, which until then had focused on Yankees and sports. We received support from students who took the University of Tokyo entrance exam. I wonder if there will be plans for a reanimation or dramatization????
Therefore, fans were already grateful for the image in the comments and most importantly, Ken Akamatsu to pop culture in general.
Synopsis:
It can be said that Keitaro Urashima is not the luckiest person in the world. At 19, he has never kissed a girl and has already aced the entrance exam at Toudai, the highly competitive University of Tokyo, three times. Disillusioned, he leaves his home and goes to his grandmother's boarding house. Therefore, Keitaro had no idea that the place had been transformed into a dormitory just for girls. As his grandmother decided to travel around the world, Keitaro ends up becoming the manager of the Hinata Pension. Amid much confusion, little by little, he wins over each of the residents. At the same time, he starts to try much harder to enter Toudai and fulfill the promise he made to a little girl as a child. The two would enter University together and live happily ever after.
Finally, the series was published in Weekly Shounen Magazine from 1998 to 2001, and had 14 volumes. In Brazil, the manga arrived through publisher JBC.
