The release date for the Love Live! Sunshine!! (Yohane the Parhelion -Sunshine in the Mirror-) spin-off anime has been revealed. According to the official website, it will premiere in July in Japan.

Therefore, the direction is by Asami Nakatani (Ensemble Stars!! Road to Show!!) at Sunrise studio, with a screenplay by Toshiya Ono (86: Eighty-Six).
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Yoshiko Tsushima , a school idol living in the city of Namazu and part of a group called Aqours. Yoshiko has never fit into society and has always felt detached from everyone in her city because she feels her life is a bit boring and she prefers to be the protagonist of a fantasy world. Therefore, one day, Yoshiko's dream comes true and she is sent to a new reality where she will be known as Yohane; some old acquaintances are also part of this magical world.
