Macross Delta (Macross Δ) – The new series in the Macross franchise after Frontier has a new promotional video. A special will soon be shown in Japan at the end of the year, but the series' premiere date has not yet been confirmed.
The animation is by the Satelight , directed by Kenji Yasuda (Arata: The Legend, Noein) and character design by Yuu Shindou (Persona 4 the Golden Animation).
The franchise began in 1982 with The Super Dimension Fortress Macross , followed by two more series Macross 7 and Macross Frontier , several films starting with The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? and several OVAs (including Macross II, Macross Plus, Macross Dynamite 7 and Macross Zero).
