The official website of the Macross franchise revealed details of its new project. The website announced the title of Macross Δ ” ( Macross Delta ) with a teaser promotional art, the project logo also reveals two ships with the slogan “Gekitsui se yo” (Shoot [Him] down).
A live event that will reveal more details about the project on October 29th at 12:00 pm. Macross franchise creator Shoji Kawamori will appear at the event, which will reveal the main team, the winner of the anime's new singer audition, and the anime's characters. Around 8,000 candidates registered for the tests.
It's been four years since the last major Macross Frontier anime, in Japan the two Macross Frontier films will receive a new Blu-ray release on December 24th.
