The rerun of the Macross Frontier ended this week in Japan, after its end a teaser was presented, saying that a new TV series is on the way but unfortunately the announcement did not give any more details about the new project in the franchise.
The franchise began in 1982 with the classic The Super Dimension Fortress, a series with a space war theme, where a love triangle involves fighter planes, and from that it generated two more TV series, the famous Macross 7 and after years Frontier emerged, several OVA films and series gained prominence (Macross II, Plus, Dynamite 7, and Zero) also hit the screens.
