We finally have confirmation from Kadokawa Made in Abyss anime .
The company released a video revealing various moments from the series and films so far, culminating in the announcement of the sequel.

The first season of the anime consisted of 13 episodes, based on the manga by Akihito Tsukushi , and premiered in Japan in July 2017. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series and released it on Blu-ray in October 2018.
Following the series, the project had a first film compilation of the episodes as well as a second film titled Wandering Twilight , which in turn arrived in Japanese cinemas
Finally, the third Made in Abyss film, Dawn of the Deep Soul (Fukaki Tamashii no Reimei), the new anime film in the franchise, arrived in Japan on Friday, licensed by Sentai Filmworks.
