The sequel film to the Made in Abyss anime , titled “ Dawn of a Deep Soul ,” has received two new visual posters in addition to a trailer. The film is scheduled to premiere on January 17, 2020 in Japanese cinemas.

webmanga had an anime adaptation in 2017, in addition to 2 films summarizing its first season, which were shown in 2019. All of the series' animated content is directed by Masayuki Kojima and features animation from the Kinema Citrus , however, for the new film, the studio has not yet been announced. The film also announced the participation of Inori Minase, who will voice the character Prushka.
