Namco Bandai has announced that it is developing a 3D action game based on the series created by Gen Urubochi, titled Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram . The title will be released for PS Vita and is being developed by Artdink . Magical Quartet is overseeing the new game, which will feature the anime's soundtrack. The game will feature the five protagonists.

Homura Akem : Can manipulate time and use firearms.
Mami Tomoe : Can use magic and ranged weapons.
Madoka Kaname : Uses the arrow of light.
Sayaka Miki : Uses a sword at close range, but can use various moves and has good attack speed.
Kyoko Sakura : Uses a spear and can attack at short or medium range.
