Namco Bandai announced that it is producing a 3D action game based on the series created by Gen Urubochi, titled Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram . The title will be released for PS Vita and is being developed by Artdink . Producer Magical Quartet is overseeing the new game that will feature the anime's soundtrack. The game will feature the participation of the five protagonists.

Homura Akem i: can manipulate time and use firearms.
Mami Tomoe : can use magic and weapons from a distance.
Madoka Kaname : uses the arrow of light.
Sayaka Miki : uses a sword at close range, but can use several movements and has good attack speed.
Kyoko Sakura : uses a spear and can attack from a short or medium distance.
