It has been revealed that the second season of the anime Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story will arrive this summer. Additionally, a new promotional image for the anime has been released.

The anime is based on the game Magia Record (MagiReco) , and takes place in the city of Kamihama, where magical girls fight against witches. Iroha Tamaki joins these girls upon arriving in the city, while searching for her sister, Ui.
Thus, the first season had 13 episodes, directed by Gekidan Inu Curry . The character design was by Junichirou Taniguchi , who worked on the original series. Production was by Studio SHAFT and Magia Quartet .
Finally, MagiReco also has a manga , published since 2018 by Fujino Fuji in Manga Time Kirara Forward .
