The new issue of Weekly Shonen announced that it is adapting the Magic Kaito by author Gosho Aoyama.
An interesting new feature of this published news is that the anime will be animated by A- 1 Pictures (Another, Fairy Tail) and will be broadcast at the time before the Aoyama Detective Conan anime adaptation in early October. The anime is one of the projects being carried out in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Detective Conan serialization in Shonen Sunday .
The Magic Kaito revolves around a young wizard named Kaito Kuroba who follows late father 's footsteps as legendary thief Kaito Kid. The character has appeared in a Detective Conan , often as a formidable rival .
