Synopsis:

The story follows the journey of a man who, in his previous life, always dreamed of finding true magic. After his death, he finds himself reincarnated in a new world, reborn as Shion. With renewed hope of finally realizing his dream, Shion soon faces a harsh reality: in that world, magic doesn't exist either. However, everything changes when, on a walk with his sister near a lake, Shion witnesses a supernatural phenomenon that closely resembles the magic he's always longed to experience. Determined to unravel this mystery, Shion decides to pioneer the creation of the magic he's so desperately sought, becoming the creator of the power he's always dreamed of finding.

A Japanese light novel written by Kazuki Kaburagi and illustrated by Kururi. It began serialization online in June 2017 on the user-generated light novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by Media Factory, which has published two volumes since May 2020 under its MF Books imprint.

Finally, a manga adaptation with art by Tomozo Nishioka was serialized through the Manga Doa app from June 2021 to February 2023 and was collected into three tankōbon volumes by Mag Garden.
