It has been revealed that the 2nd season of the anime Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story will arrive in the summer. Additionally, a new promotional image for the anime was released.

The animation is based on the game Magia Record (MagiReco) , set in the city of Kamihama, where magical girls fight witches. Iroha Tamaki joins these girls upon arriving in the city, while looking for her sister, Ui.
Therefore, the first season had 13 episodes, being directed by Gekidan Inu Curry . Character design was done by Junichirou Taniguchi , who worked on the original series. Production was by SHAFT and Magia Quartet .
Finally, MagiReco also has a manga , published since 2018 by Fujino Fuji in Manga Time Kirara Forward .
