The anime Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Gaiden has received news that its premiere is scheduled for January 2020 . In addition to announcing its premiere date, a trailer and a poster with the anime's visuals were revealed.
On official website , it was announced that the anime will be animated by the SHAFT and directed by Gekidan Inu Curry. Gekidan will also be handling the series' script, while Junichirou Taniguchi will provide character designs and Takumi Ozawa will compose the anime's music. The anime's opening and ending themes will be performed by the groups TrySail and Claris, respectively.
