The manga 'Magilumiere' about a magical girl company is getting an anime adaptation

Shonen Jump's YouTube channel revealed a promotional video on Tuesday (28), announcing that the manga Magilumiere Co. Ltd. , created by Sekka Iwata and Yuu Aoki , will receive an anime adaptation. The production will be handled by studios Moe and JC Staff and is scheduled to premiere in 2024.

Synopsis

While facing challenges in the job market, university student Kana Sakuragi is recruited by the Magilumiere magical girl agency. Taking on the role of a "Magical Girl," her responsibility is to combat a form of natural disaster known as "Kaii." The anime, in turn, promises to explore Kana's professional life as a Magical Girl in an exciting way.

Staff

The anime will be directed by Masahiro Hiraoka (director of CG One-Punch Man 2, Planet With) at Studio Moe. Shingo Nagai (Girly Air Force) will supervise and write the scripts. Furthermore, the main cast includes Fairouz Ai (Power in Chainsaw Man ) as Kana Sakuragi and Yumiri Hanamori as Hitomi Koshigaya.

Finally, writer Iwata and artist Aoki launched the manga on Shueisha 's Shonen Jump+ in October 2021. Furthermore, the work reached its ninth volume, published by Shueisha on October 4th, creating anticipation for the long-awaited anime adaptation.
