A new promotional video for the original anime Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers ( Magical Girl Magical Destroyers ) reveals the introduction of the "Otaku Hero." According to the official website, the series premieres in April of this year.

Therefore, the animation is by Bibury Animation Studios directed by Hiroshi Ikehata , assistant director Masao Kawase and script by Daishiro Tanimura .
Synopsis:
The year is 2008. Due to the emergence of a mysterious force, Japan has eliminated all forms of otaku culture, including anime, games, manga, music, railways, and cosplay. The goods are contained, and even though otaku are oppressed in the name of protection, people don't question it. A group was raided by the SSC, an organization responsible for maintaining order, and it seemed the otaku were dead—but then, those who recaptured the blockaded Akihabara and rebelled appeared.
While creator Jun Inagawa has collaborated with numerous clothing brands and musicians, this is the first project where he's been able to create what he "really wanted to do."
