The new anime Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers ( Magical Girl Magical Destroyers ) has had a new trailer and promotional image revealed. According to the official website, the series will premiere in 2023.

Synopsis:
The year is 2008. Due to the emergence of a mysterious force, Japan has eliminated all forms of otaku culture, including anime, games, manga, music, railroads, and cosplay. Goods are contained, and even though otaku are oppressed in the name of protection, people don't question it. A group was raided by the SSC, an organization responsible for maintaining order, and it seemed that otaku had died out – but then, those who recaptured the blocked Akihabara and rebelled appeared.
Inagawa is known for blending various subcultures, such as anime and music. Although Inagawa has collaborated with several clothing brands and musicians, this is the first project where he was able to create what he "really wanted to do."
