Norihiro Naganuma (Yowamushi Pedal) is at the helm of the direction at Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, Seraph of the End) and the character design is by Hirotaka Katō (Empire of Corpses animation).
The story revolves around Hatori Chise, who has lived a life of suffering, devoid of any feeling. When all hope seemed lost, she encounters a man with the head of an animal, wielding strange powers, who buys her at a slave auction. The man is a sorcerer of great power, who decides to free Chise from the bonds of captivity.
