We have a new season of the anime Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei announced. According to information, the new anime will arrive in the winter season of 2022.

Therefore, the adaptation is from Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Tsuioku-hen ( The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc ).
The animation is by studio 8-Bit , directed by Risako Yoshida and Kana Ishida designs the animation characters.
Satou and Ishida began publishing the novel in July 2011, and it soon became a manga. The work inspired a 26-episode anime series adaptation by studio Madhouse directed by Manabu Ono in 2014. A film was later released in June 2017.
Finally, a second season animated by studio 8-Bit was released in October 2020 with 13 episodes.
