Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (Tsutomu Satou) will have two sequels. According to reports, the first sequel to the light novel has the provisional title Zoku ・ Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Magian (The Irregular at Magic High School Magian), which will be released in the fall of 2020. The story follows Tatsuya and the others who have graduated from high school.
The other part, titled Shin・ Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Cygnus no Otome-tachi (New・The Irregular at Magic High School Maidens of Cygnus), will also be released in the winter of 2021, following the students attending Tatsuya's high school after his graduation. The franchise's official website has begun publishing a prequel to this series, which focuses on students Arisa and Marika.
Finally, the series concluded in September with the 32nd volume. A second season of the anime is planned for release, but it has been postponed due to Covid-19.
