Announced in June 2024, the new film The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Yotsuba Keishō-hen) has received a new teaser.

Without going into too much detail, the teaser introduces Tatsuya Shiba.
Therefore, the first season of the anime adaptation premiered in April 2014, consisting of 26 episodes. The highly anticipated second season, titled The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc, premiered on October 3, 2021, comprising 13 episodes. Recently, the third season concluded its run.
Produced by Studio 8-Bit (known for works such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Infinite Stratos), the anime is directed by Risako Yoshida (who also directed the film The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars). Character design is by Kana Ishida, while Taku Iwasaki returns to compose the music, guaranteeing a unique sound experience.
Finally, in addition to the television seasons, the franchise also expanded into film with the movie The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which premiered in June 2017.
Furthermore, all indications suggest that the film will premiere sometime in 2025.
