It has been confirmed that the second season of the anime Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High School) will arrive in July of this year.
The animation is by studio 8-Bit (Infinite Stratos), and the direction is by Risako Yoshida, with character designs by Kana Ishida .
The story of this new season will follow the arc from the 9th to the 11th volume of the novel.
In total, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei has sold over 15 million copies.
Finally, the last adaptation was the film The Irregular at Magic High School The Movie: The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which was released in theaters in Japan in June 2017.
