The Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei movie has a confirmed release date in Japan. The production , Gekijouban Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei – Yotsuba Shokei-hen, will officially premiere on May 8 , 2026, accompanied by the first teaser and a striking promotional visual.

The film adapts one of the most anticipated arcs from the light novel written by Tsutomu Sato , bringing the pivotal Yotsuba Succession Arc . This time, the story follows Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba during the New Year's ceremony of the powerful Yotsuba family, known as Keishunkai . At the gathering, clan leaders meet as the name of the next head is revealed, along with truths that change the course of the series.
The teaser highlights keywords such as "the most feared clan" and "the secret of the siblings," while the visual shows Miyuki seated in the center, surrounded by potential successors, under the imposing gaze of Maya Yotsuba .
In addition, the film will receive a movie ticket card in Japan, along with a special A3-sized poster.
