The trailer for the highly anticipated Mahoutsukai no Yoru ( Witch on the Holy Night ) film produced and animated by Ufotable (Demon Slayer, Fate/Zero) has been revealed.

Based on the visual novel "Visual Novel Mahoutsukai no Yoru," the film tells the story of Aoko Aozaki , who begins learning sorcery from a young sorceress, Alice Kuonji, the mansion's supposed witch. Mysterious intruders have been disturbing the town of Misaki, prompting Alice and Aoko to investigate.

1996 novel Mahoutsukai no Yoru Kinoko Nasu was the first novel that established the now-known Nasuverse . In high school, he was inspired by the first episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion and considered writing a novel.

Finally, the Type-Moon version of the game was released on April 12, 2012 for PCs and Windows.
