The Visual Novel game Mahoutsukai no Yoru ( Witch on the Holy Night ) will have its film adaptation. According to information from the official website , the anime is produced by Ufotable (Kimetsu no Yaiba, Fate/Stay night unlimited blade works).

Synopsis:
The story takes place near the end of the Showa Era, in the 1980s, in the city of Misaki. After moving into a mansion, Aoko Aozaki begins to learn sorcery from a young sorceress, Alice Kuonji, the supposed witch of the mansion. Mysterious intruders have been disturbing the inner city of Misaki, prompting Alice and Aoko to investigate the events.
The novel Mahoutsukai no Yoru written in 1996 by Kinoko Nasu , was the first novel that established the currently known Nasuverse . In high school, he was inspired by the first episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion and thought about writing a novel.
Finally, the Type-Moon version of the game was released on April 12, 2012 for PCs and Windows. Furthermore, Mahoutsukai no Yoru was not designed as an adult game.
