Japanese television broadcaster NHK has revealed the cast, staff, and February 25 premiere date for the anime Maiko-san Chi no Makai-san .

Youhei Suzuki is directing the anime at JC Staff while Susumu Yamakawa ( Gokushufudou anime) is in charge of the scripts. Go Sakabe ( Date A Live ) is composing the soundtrack.
Furthermore, Maiko-san will have 12 episodes.
Synopsis
In Kyoto's geisha district, "hanamachi," after the geishas finish their work late at night, they spend the night resting in a shop to prepare for the next day. The story centers on Kiyo, a 16-year-old girl. After failing to become a Maiko (geisha apprentice), she works as a food preparer for her troupe. This is the story of her daily life.
Finally, Kyoma launched the manga Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san in Shogakukan 's Weekly Shonen Sunday in December 2016, which currently has 14 volumes. Furthermore, the manga won the 65th Shogakukan Best Shonen Manga
