Mairimashita! Iruma-kun – Season 2 premieres on April 17th

NHK announced that the second season of the anime Mairimashita! Iruma-kun will premiere on April 17th. The website also revealed that the boy band DA PUMP will perform the opening theme song “No! No! Satisfaction!” and a new visual.

Synopsis

The story follows Iruma, a kind-hearted 14-year-old boy whose parents sell him to demons for their own selfish interests. However, the demon he is sold to has no grandson, so he adopts Iruma and sends him to demon school.

Staff

Makoto Moriwaki returns as director for the second season at Bandai Namco Pictures, while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu again composes the anime's music. Satohiko Sano returns as character designer. Akimitsu Honma again composes the music. NHK and NHK Enterprises are credited with production.

Furthermore, the first season premiered in October 2019 on NHK Educational and had 23 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan under the English title Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun .

Finally, Osamu Nishi launched the manga in Akita Shoten 's Weekly Shonen Champion in March 2017, and it currently has 15 volumes.

In January 2020, the first 15 volumes of the manga had over 2.5 million copies in circulation.
