The June issue of Shōnen Sirius is announcing that an adaptation of the manga Majimoji Rurumo by author Wataru Watanabe (Densha Otoko) has been greenlit and will hit screens in Japan. The anime will adapt the first manga series of Magimoji Rurumo.
The " magical world comedy " follows Kota Shibaki ( the #1 pervert in his school) . Rurumo is a demoted apprentice witch who is training with tickets she earned in the human world . Shibaki can use these tickets to grant wishes, which Rurumo must use as part of her training. The problem is that each ticket used shortens Shibaki 's life .
Chikara Sakura (Little Busters!, Waiting in the Summer, Naruto) took over directing the anime and JC Staff (A Certain Scientific Railgun S, Little Busters!) took over the scripts.
The anime is scheduled to premiere in July.
