The June issue of Shōnen Sirius is announcing that the anime adaptation of the manga Majimoji Rurumo by author Wataru Watanabe (Densha Otoko) has been greenlit and will be shown on Japanese screens. The anime will adapt the first manga series of Majimoji Rurumo.
The " magical world comedy " revolves around Kota Shibaki ( the #1 pervert at his school) . Rurumo is a witch apprentice who was demoted and is training with tickets she earned in the human world . Shibaki can use these tickets to grant wishes that Rurumo must use as part of her training. The problem is that each ticket used shortens Shibaki 's lifespan .
Chikara Sakura (Little Busters!, Waiting in the Summer, Naruto) took over the direction of the anime, and JC Staff (A Certain Scientific Railgun S, Little Busters!) handled the scripts.
The anime is scheduled to premiere in July.
