It's official! The anime Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines ! ( Make Heroine ga Ooisugiru! ) had its 2nd season officially confirmed this Sunday (6). A teaser trailer accompanied the announcement.

With its sales success, fans can now add it to their wishlist. The first season premiered in July 2024, animated by A-1 Pictures , becoming a true hit among fans of the genre.

Synopsis “Too Many Losing Heroines!”

Kazuhiko Nukumizu, a boy who disappears into the back of his classroom. But when he unwittingly witnesses Anna Yanami, a popular girl in his class, being rejected by her childhood friend, he ends up talking to Anna afterward. Mixing sadness and anger, Anna reveals that her childhood friend had promised to marry her back when they were four or five years old. While Kazuhiko feels sorry for Anna, he also can't help but think that those kinds of promises made in childhood don't count. Without realizing it, he begins meeting girls at school who have all been rejected by the boys they like.

Therefore, Amamori released the first volume of the novel in July 2021 under Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint, with illustrations by Imigimuru.
