BS11 released a trailer for the second season of the anime Maken -Ki! . The series is scheduled to premiere on January 15th, the video highlights the opening theme “Cherish” performed by sweet ARMS.
The animation is by the studio Xebec , the director is Hiraku Kaneko (The Qwaser of Stigmata), the character design is in charge of Akio Takami (Shaman King).
The story takes place due to the return of Takeru Ōyama, a boy who attends an elite school where students fight battles with mysterious powers. It is at this school that he will meet Kodama, his self-styled fiancée Inaho and Haruko, his childhood friend.
