Cheerleading manga 'Anima Yell!' comes to an end

The manga about cheerleaders Anima Yell! by Tsukasa Unohara published its latest chapter in the October issue of Manga Time Kirara Carat this Friday.

Cheer up Yell! by publisher Hobunsha is a 4-panel manga ( 4-koma ), published between February 2016 and August 2020, ending in its fifth volume.

Hobunsha will publish the fifth ( and final ) volume on September 25th.

Synopsis

Kohane Hatoya, a young woman who loves helping others. But after she moves from elementary school to high school, she becomes fascinated with cheerleading, and starts a club at her middle school. Joining Kohane in cheerleading activities are the experienced Hizume Arima and Kohane's childhood friend Uki Sawatari.

Furthermore, Cheer Yell! inspired an anime adaptation by Doga Kobo that premiered in October 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Anyway, Cheer Yell! was directed by Masako Sato, with a screenplay by Fumihiko Shimo and character design by Manamu Amasaki.

The opening theme is “Jump Up Yell!!”, and the ending theme is “One for All”. The anime had 12 episodes.
